Meet Taylor Reign: Motherhood & Lifestyle Blogger/Content Creator

We had the good fortune of connecting with Taylor Reign and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Taylor, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I have wanted to be a content creator for years. I’ve always watched YouTubers like Jackie Aina and NitraaB and wanted to be able to create and share in that same space. Once my son was born prematurely, I became a stay at home mother. I decided to start sharing my journey as a new mom. Whether it was my breastfeeding experience, making homemade baby food, or toddler learning activities, other women have been inspired by my posts. Making meaningful connections and bonding with my online community has been the best part of becoming a content creator.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am a motherhood and lifestyle blogger and content creator on Instagram. On my blog, Life As Taylor and Instagram, you’ll find fun and helpful content that makes life easier or more fun. I like to say that I provide easy ways to be extra, because I like to do the most, but there isn’t always a ton of time.

It’s important to me that everything that I share on my platforms is something that I really do in my daily life. Authenticity is imperative. I love sharing my toddler activities, recipes, home decor, and more because I love to inspire and make connections with others.

When it comes to my journey as a content creator, I’m still at the beginning. I’m a little over a year in, and I know that I have so much further to go. My skills and my community have grown so much and I’m proud to be where I am, but excited to learn and grow even more. It hasn’t been easy, but consistency and a willingness to be open to opportunities has helped me so much.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
As a new Atlanta resident, I have been exploring the city and finding my favorite local spots. I live in Midtown, and I absolutely love the area and walking to activities with my family.

I loooove food. On a week long trip, and friend and I would hit up a couple of local spots for brunch like Breakfast at Barney’s and The Flying Biscuit. For lunch, Slutty Vegan is a must and dinner could be anything from Low Country Steak to DaOne Seafood.

I would definitely take a friend to Piedmont Park because I love the juxtaposition of the skyline and tree lined views. I love walking to the park with my family and it’s the perfect place to talk and catch up with a friend. We would also check out the trap museum together. I haven’t gone yet and it seems like a can’t miss experience!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My life would be completely different without the support and dedication of my fiance, Augustine Reign. He is the most helpful, kind, and loving partner that I could wish for. He takes all of my pictures, helps me with ideas and above all else, encourages me daily. I couldn’t do this without him. Shoutout to my king, Augustine Reign.
