Meet Andre Albritton: Financial Influencer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Andre Albritton and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Andre, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
When it came to starting my own business my thought process was all around the feasibility of success and the need for it in the market. For feasibility it didn’t seem likely that I would make enough money to be able to leave my job but I was ok with that at the time. Currently I’m working and scaling the business t bring in more income. And I found a big need for “investing education” in the market since influencers are still new to financial education. Plenty of room in the market to grow.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
The Millennials Next Door breaks down investing to simple tidbits to help millennials and others build wealth. I’m extremely proud that I have been able to help hundreds of neighbors become more intelligent neighbors through stock and REIT investing. I believe this is helping our generation build long-term wealth to serve as a financial foundation. Though it hasn’t been easy the support through reading student testimonials has helped make the journey nice and easy.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Have to start off the morning at Thumbs Up Diner! From there we need to hang out at Piedmont Park on a nice day and grab some drinks at the Park Tavern. Possibly walk to Ponce Market and go to the rooftop to keep the good vibes going!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
The Elevate Community played a strong part in my current success. he community is made up of other financial influencers hat look just like me and have been in the business longer than myself. I was able to talk to them for advice and the support has been tremendous. No doubt I would be moving slower without that community.
