We had the good fortune of connecting with Nysheka Jackson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nysheka, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I started my own business, for not only the freedom to live my life on my own terms , but to make a difference in other people’s lives!

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
In 2020 in the midst of the pandemic I quit my corporate job in healthcare to pursue my dreams in skin care. I enrolled in school to become an esthetician in the beginning of the pandemic. In esthetician school you must obtain 1,000 credit hours in order to take stateboard and become licensed. Obtaining 1,000 credit hours in the midst of a pandemic has been rather challenging. I’ve learned entrepreneurship is not about where your at , but more about where your going. With my recent achievements graduating esthetician school… I plan having my very own beauty school in the near future. I want to help others make their dreams come true.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
My favorite spots in Atlanta, Ga are the lounges in the buckhead , downtown and midtown area. I also have a deep love for the beautiful mountains in some surroundings area. Once you make it to the top , the view is beautiful.
