Meet Sabrina Kaylor: Owner & Founder of Bizarre Coffee

We had the good fortune of connecting with Sabrina Kaylor and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sabrina, what role has risk played in your life or career?
I have always had sort of a spontaneous instinct deep within me and it resurfaces at the most crucial times. It has brought me some of the most amazing experiences and opportunities all while testing my ability to trust my natural gut instinct.

I associate risk with really leaning into what my gut says despite what others may perceive on the outside and trusting that natural intuition and belief in myself has always made any risk feel less risky. I try not to feel the risk emotionally, but simply be in a place where I’m aware of how hard I will have to work once the risk is taken.

What should our readers know about your business?
I am the founder and creator of Bizarre Coffee! It is a coffee company dedicated to the movers, shakers and change makers of the world. We offer fresh roasted coffees, extraordinarily crafted coffee creations and even more extraordinary service.

As someone who had dreamed of opening a coffee shop since I was 18, I am most proud to have been persistent and motivated to accomplish my biggest dream and I’m excited to see this company grow and develop.

I am fortunate enough to have worked with several entrepreneurs over the years doing digital marketing and business development. Pairing that with my artwork and love for coffee has been a crucial foundation to our current success.

If I had a word I would use to describe how we got here it would be GRIT. As someone who is very determined and motivated to accomplish something I set my mind to I knew it would be a gritty process. Its all about knowing that it’s going to be hard and embracing the suck to get to the next phase. We did numerous popups, sold online and I honestly had to pull out all the cards and really hope the community and the world would embrace our unique branding style and creations.

I’ve learned that trusting your intuition and a deep sense of purpose will be more well received than trying to fit a mold. I tried for years to explain my art and to “niche” down everything and honestly for me it never worked. It wasn’t until I truly followed my gut and allowed my creative side to lead the way that it all fell into place.

I want the world to know that at Bizarre Coffee everything is crafted with their happiness in mind. It’s a safe place of love, acceptance and true appreciation for the extraordinary person they are. We embrace people for exactly who they are right now and are excited to join them on their journey and support them on the way to who they’re becoming.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to dedicate this shoutout to my husband and official hype man. Through every crazy and wild adventure, he has always undoubtably believed in me and been a vital component to its accomplishment.
