Meet Young Bowzer: Professional Music Producer & Artist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Young Bowzer and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Young, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factor behind my success would have to be my will to invest in myself and the quality of product that I put out, plus my willingness to learn.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I love to make music. Always have. Ever since I can remember I’ve been super interested in music and I would always hear it in my head. So of course when I started making it it was like a way to relieve myself from stress or any other things. It makes me happy. I always work hard to make sure I don’t sound like anyone else unless I did that on purpose, which is a rare occasion. The things that will make me a part from your average artist is my versatility and my ability to do anything I want musically. I learned how to make music from scratch by myself. And I guess that’s what makes me so proud of what I’ve become today. Learning how to do everything from scratch which means making the beat, recording myself, and mixing and mastering my own records is what really set me apart and got me put in the position I am in today. One thing I can tell you is that it was not an easy road. It took a lot of time, patience, and investing in myself to get the opportunities that I get today. The willingness to learn is also something that took me to my next level. To learn how to not be stubborn, to listen to people that you aspire to be like or surpass one day, in soaking up the business knowledge of the music industry. I don’t know necessarily what I want the world to know about my brand or my story, I just want them to know that Young Bowzer puts out quality good music.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Well I’m from Nawf Atlanta (Gwinnett county). If I have someone coming out to visit. We are for sure going to the city. We’re going to hit a few malls such as Lenox, Perimeter, and Phipps Plaza. After that we might go grab something to eat. Atlanta is known for its wings and southern food, so we are for sure going to go get some lemon pepper from a number of places and if not that, then we might hit some of our seafood spots like Pappadeaux‘s. After that we might go hit the club. Atlanta Clubs be poppin. But one of my favorite to go to is the Miami lounge on the Nawf side. Everybody knows after you hit the club you gotta go hit the Waffle House.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I definitely have to give a colossal shout out to my mother and father because they supported me from the very beginning and never gave me any hassle on my decision to do music. Another shout out I have to give is to Deraj Global who help me In a tremendous way. I honestly don’t know if he understands how much he changed my sound of music and way of hearing it but I got to give credit where credit is due.
