We had the good fortune of connecting with yungpizza and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi yungpizza, what do you want your legacy to be?
I want my legacy to be someone who was an openly non-binary musician that barely knows how to tie their own shoes.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I really just like industrial sounds sonically so i’m trying to go into a really industrial rap//pop area. I like the new stuff i’m working on i haven’t heard much like it before. People just need to know that music isn’t that deep a song is just a reflection of how the people making it were feeling.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I just like to go hiking honestly the city scares me, there are so many people and i get anxious really easy so i like to go hangout in the woods. i like thrifting in the city a lot of local places near Tech’s campus.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Shoutout to Caughy another atlanta artist they helped me produce my first track and learn a lot about the spectrum of gender.
