I used to stress about achieving a perfect balance due to my perfectionist personality and notion of achieving everything simultaneously if I only tried hard enough or planned hard enough. My work-life balance has changed over time in a couple of ways. The main thing is me having to adjust to being busy with work some days and then being free on others. Another thing I have gotten good at is planning ahead. I always want to have free days for myself where I can strictly work on music or hang out with my friends. I think about the balance often.
