Taking chances has been one of the most important factors in my success as a creative professional. Recently, I had the incredible opportunity to see one of my jacket designs featured in the movie No Honor, Loyalty, or Love, produced by Boosie. This milestone came about because I took the initiative to connect with a member of the wardrobe team. Although I sent several pieces for consideration, there was no guarantee that any of them would make it into the film. To my surprise and excitement, one of my jackets appeared in a prominent scene, which was a tremendous confidence boost for me as a designer.
