My favorite quote: “Keep the faith and the evidence will come”. This quote means to be faithful in all that you do and the result will reveal themselves to you later. Sometimes it is so hard to stay focused and positive about the task at hand but once you become consistent it all becomes easy and then it becomes natural. Read more>>

My favorite quote is from The Serenity Prayer by Reinhold Niebuhr: God, gave me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference. I ran across this quote going through my mother’s personal items a couple of months after she passed. It resonated with me because I used to go through life concerned about how others perceived me. I would get upset if my car got a flat tire, or if someone did something I didn’t agree with. These are things that I can’t change or control. On the other hand, I’m fearless when confronted adversity and always using my platform to make a difference when possible. Read more>>

My favorite quote and life verse is Micah 6:8. “He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?” This verse speaks strongly to the answer for many of the societal ills that we face today. If we do what is right, defer to others’ needs over our own, and treat everyone with mercy instead of judgement, we create the foundation for strong, mutually beneficial relationships. As someone who makes a living in the “people business,” understanding how to leverage relationships in a way that makes people feel valued and affirmed is imperative. Read more>>

My mantra for the past couple of years has been “Less Force, More Flow”. I love it because it reminds me to never force anything and let things happen as organically and naturally as possible. I think it’s human of us to want things a certain way so bad that we betray ourselves and try to force it whether it be relationships, job situations, friendships, etc.. I learned that the best things happen naturally especially when it comes to relationships. Read more>>

My favorite quote that I use everyday: “Everything happens for a reason.” I’m sure some individuals are curious as to why certain events happen to them in the manner that they do. The question would always be, “Why is happening to me?” Why not? My logic of questioning has changed over the years. Instead of asking yourself, “Why is this happening to me? Ask yourself, “What is this trying to tell me? Who/what do I need to re-evaluate in my life?” Life has a funny way of unveiling certain situations that has been hidden temporarily. I love that quote because I feel it is preparing you to walk in the same direction of your purpose. Read more>>

Of course I do. I actually have several. The main one that comes to mind is the following, “I am a little pencil in the hands of a writing God that is sending a love letter to the world.” It’s a reminder that I am supposed to be a conduit for spreading love in this world. I want to be known for how well I’ve loved those that I’ve been privileged to encounter. Love is my baseline and remembering that has guided how I function in my career. Read more>>

Yes, why yes I do! My favorite affirmation is “This is the smallest it’ll ever be!” I am a firm believer in that and that is what has kept me going. I often sit back and reflect on how far God has brought me and it really fuels me even more! God has really brought me along way and I know it’s only the beginning. I’m very excited about my future! So I know THIS IS THE SMALLEST IT’LL EVER BE! Read more>>
