My ultimate goal is to pass on to my children a legacy of character and faith. I learned early on that the things I do for myself will be gone when I am gone, but the things I do for others will remain as a part of my legacy. What I leave behind in life will be determined when I leave it. However, I hope that one of the things I can categorize as my legacy would be the lives I’ve impacted and the points of views that I’ve helped to shift. Producing content that improves someone’s mood, providing material that can educate, and/or presenting a way of approaching an issue that the receiver hadn’t thought of before, thereby opening their mind. I want to be relatable, authentic, real. Not everybody can resonate with being “the main event” or the popular person that everyone wants to be like, ya know. But I know plenty of people like me, introverts that want to be extroverted or at least have that healthy balance between the two. Also, I feel like I’ve been fortunate enough to get a well rounded perspective of life; having been homeless but also having lived in the suburbs, most people will only get a one dimensional experience. We all want to be remembered for something, to be seen as a person who made a difference in the world. For the past few years I’ve made it my mission to make my corner of the world a brighter place. I feel like at one point in my life love and kindness was all I needed, which pushed me to be the person for others that I once desperately needed for myself.
