I do have a budget, admittedly it’s more of a guideline than a hard rule. I think having the freedom to do things I like when I want to is important, so my spending decisions come from there. Read More>>

Growing up in a Christian family, I was always taught to persevere through hardships, no matter how challenging they may seem. That’s where faith truly shines. Life struggles aren’t meant to keep us down; they’re supposed to be stepping stones in our journey. They’re supposed to be a source of encouragement to keep going. I always remind myself that God won’t give us more than we can handle, especially in my twenties. Read More>>

We live in a world where titles like “doctor,” “coach,” and “bestselling author” carry a lot of weight. And while there’s nothing wrong with wanting recognition, sometimes we get so focused on chasing titles that we forget what really matters. I’ve seen people invest thousands—sometimes over $2,500—for honorary doctorates or curated bestseller campaigns. And while those things can feel like a huge achievement, it’s important to pause and ask: is the title what truly defines the value we bring? Read More>>

My work life balance has changed dramatically over time. When I first entered the workforce after college, I worked 7 days a week. I thought that was the time to put in as many hours as possible so I could build wealth faster and set myself up for the future. Since I was working all the time, I didn’t really have an opportunity to spend the money I was earning and it dawned on me there was a paradox of money: money itself was worthless until the moment you spend it. It’s only in that moment the money, and the work it took to earn it, had any real value. It was at that point that I decided it was time to stop wasting my life and to start enjoying it. Read More>>

Over time, my idea of balance has evolved from trying to do everything at once to understanding that balance is more about being fully present in each role, not perfectly dividing time between them. As a business owner working in both real estate and life insurance, I used to think I had to be “on” constantly in both careers to succeed. That led to burnout and made it harder to show up fully for my husband, our three dogs, and my family. Read More>>
