We had the good fortune of connecting with Trenton Greene and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Trenton, do you have some perspective or insight you can share with us on the question of when someone should give up versus when they should keep going?
Growing up in a Christian family, I was always taught to persevere through hardships, no matter how challenging they may seem. That’s where faith truly shines. Life struggles aren’t meant to keep us down; they’re supposed to be stepping stones in our journey. They’re supposed to be a source of encouragement to keep going. I always remind myself that God won’t give us more than we can handle, especially in my twenties. I’ve faced eviction and eviction, and I know what it feels like to be at my lowest. But I also know how to overcome those storms and emerge stronger. Sometimes, we think that’s the end of the road, but it’s just the beginning of our breakthrough. We have to use our storms as a testament to our resilience. Just remember, storms don’t last forever, and the sun will shine again. We may not see it right away, but if we hold on and keep our faith, a miracle will happen. That’s how I know how to hold on and not give up when life hits me. Life is like a game, a guessing game, a lesson in what we should and shouldn’t do. It’s great to have a supportive family that will stand by us through thick and thin, especially when we’re at our lowest.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
From being a musician, it has taught me a lot how to have patience and know that everybody doesn’t come from where you come from actually breaking down different scenarios and actually having compassion for individuals it was not easy at first when I first started out there were people that told me you’re not gonna make it far because of your past, but I didn’t listen to them. I was persistent. I kept the face working for a various churches and choirs . I always went with the mentality. We’re gonna learn something new today. I always told them don’t make excuses but make arrangements. Life is not about excuses, but life is about how you can overcome those excuses and become something great in life and so I felt like giving up at first because nothing was happening and nothing was working, but I stay there work with them taught with them. Just stay there and did my part as a musician. That’s my passion, teaching music to others. I love it.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
So if my best friend was coming in town, first thing we would do I will go pick them up. Take them back to my place. Allow them to unpack wind down. Next thing we will go visit the city. I would then take them to go get some ice cream. We will go sit down and have some lunch afterwards we will go skating go for a walk on the trail and then just talk about life.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Yes, I want to give a shoutout to my supportive partner who has been with me for the past 7 to 8 years. He has been there for me through everything, from the time I had sepsis and thought I was going to die to the time I was in a car accident that caused a head concussion. He was there when I graduated and even when I stepped out and did something most people would have laughed at, but he didn’t. He stayed by my side, and we worked things out, and we became better. There’s a saying that people say you don’t miss your way until your well has gone dry, but not always. Don’t take people for granite while you have them in life. Encourage them. I thank God for him because he has taught me a lot over the past 7 to 8 years. Another person I want to thank, is my family, who have taught me the right way of how to become a young man. They have taught me to be professional in today’s society, but not to walk around with my pants sagging, and to have class by having dignity.
