Meet Sensei Marlee | All Around Artist and Teacher

We had the good fortune of connecting with Sensei Marlee and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sensei, can you tell us more about your background and the role it’s played in shaping who you are today?
I’m really from 2 places.
Spring Valley New York and Powder Springs Georgia. 2 VERY DIFFERENT environments. Culture shock to the highest Degree lol
But those 2 places molded me into being a great artist in many different mediums and Medias

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I really do a lot from Music to videos to graphic design to making clothing. I’m here now because of hard work and a little bit of Luck. Lol
I learned everything that glitters isn’t gold ….sometimes people will sprinkle glitter on a pile of shit and sell it like a brand new Rolex.
I wouldn’t say it was easy to overcome challenges either …. There was a lot of hard times , depression and arguments but there ways always real love in it all so it always got back to where it needed to be and then I started keeping it pushing again

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I’m not the party type or anything I don’t go out unless it’s an event that’ll help my business in someway. I’d take them to Taco Truck off Pat Mel in Cobb county and then to PBM studio where i throw my own events and parties lol I’m very simple very boring. Homebody for the most part

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to shout out My Pops and My gang SourSunflower ! Them Sour boys pushed me past my limits everytime. It’s always good to have real friends that tell you the truth and a pops that supports and when you ask for something he asks no questions lol .
I also want to shout out my Son and my Wife Of course they get me up and running in the morning.
