To pivot or to persevere? Or more bluntly – to give up or to not to give up? This is a haunting question, a question that has ramifications far after an answer has been chosen and it’s also a question that almost everyone in our community has had to face at one time or another. How do you know when to give up and when to keep trying?

I take a look at how far I’ve come and ask myself do i see progress, then I imagine my life if i keep going and succeed and then I would imagine my life if i give up on my goals, i also look back on past experiences and weigh out the results from me giving up versus the results from me pushing through obstacles and hard times. I think it’s really easy to get caught up in numbers of likes/followers etc. and sometimes it can be hard to view your work negatively if you don’t get a certain “number”.
