Success. It’s something we dress for, strive for, work towards. We wish it upon others as well as ourselves, but what is it? What is success?

I define success for myself personally whenever I have the opportunities to work and have my career choices rooted in my true passions in life. Passion for me is constant and ever evolving, but I will always be able to identify a passion point. I identify passion points by having frequent “self checks” with my self, where I take the time out to ask myself is the activity I am doing making me happy? Do I feel happy when I complete the goal or activity?, also if I didn’t get paid as much as I did to do this or not at all would I still engage in this behavior? For me, when I am able to merge my passion with my God given purpose on a daily and generate revenue (a career) from in it, I am living successfully. Also success for me is defined when I create a goal, then a plan and subsequently I act on the tactics it takes to obtain the goal. Read more>>

We’ve put our hearts and a lot of time and effort into developing the best product we can and sharing it with as many people as possible. The COVID-19 pandemic brought all our business for 2020 to a halt — all of our projected specials events, festivals, and farmers markets were cancelled. With preparation, planning and the support of our family, customers and the Atlanta business community we were able to demonstrate agility and resilience by pivoting our business model and expanding our wholesale accounts. Success isn’t about perfection — there will always be bumps in the road. It’s about encountering those roadblocks with grace and grit and finding a way around them.
