Never give up. It’s advice that is thrown around daily – but is it always right? We asked some folks we admire about their thoughts around how to know when to give up and when to keep trying

Never give up! I have had the dream to act since I was a child. I have been pursuing that dream in some form or fashion since then. It doesn’t look exactly the same now as it did then, and I’m really grateful for that. God gave me the dream and my faith in His never ending love keeps me pursuing what He has given me. I have wandered astray, missed the boat, and been a complete failure in some ways, but I will never stop. When I was younger, I made the mistake of thinking I had to accomplish my dream in only one way… perhaps being “given” an opportunity in a big movie or TV show. My path has been different. I’m ok with that. I’m “living the dream” and the journey is so worth it. Read more>>

There’s a saying I use, “Its hard to quit something you’re good at.” If people are telling you that you have talent in what you are doing, keep doing it. Learn the professional side of it so you can become a REAL PRO, and hopefully feed your family off of what you love to do. Read more>>

This is a great question! Let me just say, when it’s something you’re passionate about giving up is not a option! When chasing a dream, goal, or building a business you may face hard obstacles but that’s life! A reminder I tell myself all the time is if it was easy, everybody would be doing it. The only time I would say give up is if you are not 100% in it. If you are doing it for someone or for money, it probably wouldn’t work. Why? Because you’re not doing it for you! The reward is so much better when you worked hard for it, gave it your all, and it’s something you love to do. Therefore, keep going if it’s something you’re passionate about. Others may not see your vision but chase your dream or goal and watch the reward be worth it. Read more>>

I would say to always keep going and to never give up. If you believe that you have a great product or brand, don’t get discouraged. Often times we experience numerous trials and errors, and need a little direction and readjustment to catch our footing. But, Rome was not built in a day. When you look at the journey of successful people and where they started, that is huge motivation for me. You may notice that a lot more money is going than coming, so don’t always expect a huge payout overnight. Read more>>

Never give up. It’s not an option. Honestly I gave up once and it didn’t feel right. So how do you know whether to keep going or give up? Ask yourself what is your why? Why are you doing this? Does it make you happy? If you make a difference in just one persons life then you know not to give up. What I am doing now makes me happy, my business entertains others and makes them happy so I know I’m doing exactly what I should be doing. When I got my first NO I was highly disappointed, but I turned my “NO” into “Next Opportunity”. I haven’t looked back since. Read more>>
