We had the good fortune of connecting with Victoria Burse and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Victoria, how does your business help the community?
In the midst of this pandemic, we have taken the opportunity to work with other Leaders both in Church Ministry and in the Marketplace; aiding them in setting up various technology solutions to help them live stream and continue to communicate and build community with their congregants and customers.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
theARC is comprised of a Worship Center and a School for Christian leaders in the church and in the marketplace, We teach Biblical principles of Leadership, Personal Development, and Change. Near and dear to my heart are these ingredients I believe to be the keys to a Prosperous life in every area, and the God-given recipe for Growth and Transformation. This has been and continues to be a journey. 2020 especially has been an interesting year. I am excited to say we are seeing growth in this season, and a lot of that is because we were willing to. make the necessary adjustments to keep moving forward. I’ve worked for 30 years in the IT arena, so was already pretty comfortable with technology, but many that are a part of our ministry were not – and so the training had to be internal, as well as external. The progress is amazing, and simply a testament to staying focused on the plan God has given, and trusting that along the way He will always provide the necessary strategy and resources. I’ve also learned, you can modify your method, without compromising your morals!
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
At the top of my restaurant list right now, would have to be Fogo De Chao! other than that, I am an outdoor person who is at home in the North GA Mountains, or just sitting beside any one of Georgia’s beautiful lakes. Add a little shopping at one of the many outlets….and it’s been a great day!
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I”m so grateful to have the selfless support of my husband, Pastor Forest Burse, my Mentor, Dr. Kluane Spake – Jubilee Alliance of Apostolic Ministries, and my personal support team at the ARC, Valarie DuRant, Pastor Linda Edmondson, Dashulla Dunn, and Minister Tysha Kennedy. As a team, we continue to move forward in the endeavors we believe the Lord has assigned to theARC!
