We had the good fortune of connecting with Tiffany Dyal and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Tiffany, what do you want people to remember about you?
I want my legacy to be that I used my light so that others can find their path to healing. Using my experiences and those of the women who came before me to inspire and teach others to love themselves fully. I want to be remembered as a down to earth, fun loving, emotional safe place for those who are emotionally bruised.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I started writing in order to channel my inner most thoughts and fears. Journaling has always been therapeutic for me and on the rare occasions that I shared my journal entries, I got positive responses. People wanted to read more. I aspired to create something to honor the women in my life who were dynamic and diverse in how they impacted me. My vision turned into creating R.E.G.A.L. G.E.M.S. I wanted to share the gems of wisdom that these women had shared with me and how I applied them to my life. I write blogs and create networking opportunities for women to build strong support systems of encouragement.
It hasn’t been an easy journey but sometimes you have to take a risk with your gift. If it is placed inside of you, it will grow and make room for you. As a creative there is a pressure to constantly create content but if it is a true passion then sometimes there are gaps in releasing content. I’m still in the beginning stages of learning the balance. R.E.G.A.L. G.E.M.S. is a brand that promotes self love, living in your truth, and taking the rough things that happen in life to polish us to shine brightly. I want women to find a sisterhood where the feel loved, supported, and heard. Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to dedicate my shout out to my family. I was raised by an amazing group of people. Everything that I do is in honor of their sacrifices for me to be where I am.
