We had the good fortune of connecting with Stacii Lewis and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Stacii, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking.
Risk taking has me so far ahead in the film industry because even though I started in the film industry 2 years ago I believe I moved up faster with most of the risks I took and sometimes I just went in blind in certain situations like spending money I didn’t have but praying a opportunity will present itself and I will make my money back and then some on the back end.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I never looked at myself ever as being a actor in real life I really just wanted to do motivational speaking to encourage the youth to not follow my path and choices and explain the consequences behind the street actions, but I started doing background acting for Tyler Perry, BMF, P-Valley and many more and I felt in my heart that I could be doing what the actors are doing, so during the strike in 2023 I started auditioning for speaking roles and I started landing speaking roles and from there now there is no turning back

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I love Atlanta because I’m from Miami and I never compare cities to mine but when I moved here I seen that this was where I belong and I lived in multiple states, but I love to take my brother to Lenox Mall and I explained to him that you might see all types of celebrities walking around and it’s normal and he was shocked. I like to go and eat at sport bars in Atlanta, but I took him to Magic City and he loved the women but he loved the food even more. Atlanta strip clubs has the best food in my opinion.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My dad and brother played a major role in my success because those were the only two people who held me down while I was in prison for 21 years in maximum security in Florida and I felt like I owed them everything once I was released from prison in 2018 and they also encouraged me to write a book about my life story and how I ended up in prison for 21 years at the age of twenty years old
