We had the good fortune of connecting with Shelby Leigh and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Shelby, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
I’ve always had a love for performing arts since I was a child. whether it had been praise and worship or mime ministry at church. To school plays, and being apart of the All City dance team. Performing and entertaining has always just been my safe space.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I think what sets me apart is the willingness to collaborate with my peers. I’m always open to building more with my community.
It’s been a long journey for me in the acting industry. I began in 2014 with stage plays and sporadic commercial work. It wasn’t until 2018 that real opportunities in film started to emerge. By 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic unexpectedly benefited our industry. With people confined to their homes, the demand for content surged, propelling us to the forefront of the entertainment scene.

I would love for people to know my brand is a beacon of creativity, professionalism, and trust in the entertainment industry. It represents a commitment to high-quality content that resonates with audiences, innovative storytelling, and a dedication to supporting talent in reaching their fullest potential. Your brand embodies a blend of artistic flair and strategic vision, ensuring that every project not only entertains but also leaves a lasting impact. Ultimately, it’s about building authentic connections with both clients and audiences, showing that their stories and careers are in trusted, capable hands.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Well I no longer live in ATL, I do however come back and forth. I would take them to Toast on Lenox for brunch, museum of illusions, have to get the salmon from kabob land. Take a ride to cooper cove, see my friends at serene ATL. Gotta visit Weezy’s, party at Embr lounge. Dinner at Waygu or Pasha. I could go on and on lol

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Besides the almighty man above lol, I would credit my parents for realizing early on that I was a creative in the making. For giving and finding the resources and tools for create freely. To my significant other for putting the extra battery pack in me and giving me faith and reassurance that I am THAT GIRL and pressing the gas. And my close friends who are daily motivation that I can do any and every very thing, because they are living proof.
