We had the good fortune of connecting with Shayne Goss and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Shayne, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
The Power of Healing and Community
It’s a beautiful experience to witness in my field of work for someone shift dramatically into a positive direction—releasing what no longer serves them, understanding their mission/purpose, becoming empowered, and living their highest timeline. Ultimately, it’s all about being love and showing loving service to others with every soul you encounter. The more people who understand this secret and integrate it into their daily lives, the more this frequency will spread like wildfire, sure to heal the planet and change the world rapidly.

Universal Healing Sanctuary
Aside from my holistic healing business, Higher Self Healing, LLC, I also serve as Co-Director and Minister of a private non-profit, Universal Healing Sanctuary (UHS). UHS is a metaphysical ministry dedicated to creating a sacred space for connecting to the One Infinite Creator. All perspectives of a loving God are welcome as we learn, share, and grow with one another on our spiritual journeys.

We offer a variety of public community events, resources, a metaphysics and self-help book club (currently working through A Course in Miracles over the next six months), as well as healing retreats and additional services for our members. We are blessed with a loving and accepting community that has grown significantly over the past two years.
The world has been chaotic, and there’s been a mass awakening since 2020 due to the pandemic and the need to go within. We realize that the awakening process can often feel overwhelming and lonely, so we are grateful to provide community support, ensuring no one feels alone in their healing journey.

One thing I consistently hear from clients’ Higher Selves during hypnotic regression is the importance of community as we move into a place of love and unity consciousness. We are truly grateful to provide a safe space to express ourselves, share valuable information, and support one another in expanding our perspectives as co-creators of a positive change—the “New Earth,” which simply means a world rooted in Love & Unity Consciousness for the planet and all souls currently residing here.

What should our readers know about your business?
Who Am I? Why Am I Here? What Is My Purpose or Mission in Life?
These are the eternal questions that every living soul on the planet should ask. If you haven’t pondered these questions at least once in your life, it’s questionable whether you are truly living at all. This is where I come in. My name is Shayne Goss.
I spent the first part of my life cutting my teeth in the Atlanta music scene as an independent touring artist with my pop/rock band, Fairshake. Up until 2020, being a successful touring musician and helping people through life and mental health struggles via music was my passion, my drive, my entire identity, and my obsession. However, in early 2020, everything changed. I learned that the identity I clung to was not who I truly am.

A traumatic event led to a spiritual awakening. I then saw the truth about myself, the world, and our purpose here. My passion shifted from mental health awareness to a higher perspective: spiritual health and awareness. The themes a “starving artist” can write about most often include unrequited love, heartbreak, anxiety, depression, and trauma. Needless to say, after deep and rapid healing, and reprogramming my subconscious, the symptoms that once plagued me are no longer part of my life.

Through my own journey of acceptance and forgiveness (of both myself and others, no matter how hard), bit by bit, I began to see and understand who I truly am. I also gained the ability to see through the façades that others show, which are often rooted in their own limiting beliefs and the accumulation of painful experiences they continue to cling to, which only cause suffering.

Now, my mission and purpose are to help others heal on a deeper level and understand who they truly are through various holistic and spiritual healing techniques.

When one of us heals, we all heal. By having the courage and inner strength to face our fears, transform, and transmute those emotions, energies, and experiences, we can offer an example of healing to our families, friends, communities, and, through the internet, anyone and everyone around the world. Simply shifting into a higher, loving, unity-consciousness frequency can make all the difference.
It may sound “woo-woo,” but watch one of my lectures or sermons on YouTube through Universal Healing Sanctuary. The scientific evidence is there to show how our awareness and consciousness create our reality. You don’t have to believe me—just try it.

My Work with Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique
Dolores Cannon’s Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique (QHHT) is my preferred method of working with clients because it is highly effective and addresses all aspects of the self—mind, body, and spirit—within a single session. This technique goes beyond simple goals like quitting smoking, losing weight, or overcoming addictions. While I generally refrain from using the term “past life regression” these days, it’s important to note that time is not linear, and neither is your healing journey. We often access different lifetimes of a client to gain answers to their questions in the current lifetime, but whatever is most appropriate will be shown. Sometimes, that may be early childhood memories from this current life.

I have witnessed miracles happen—both spiritual and mental, but also physical—within days, or even months. While I cannot guarantee healing (since that’s between the client’s will and their Higher Self), my role as a facilitator is to set up the connection between my client and their Higher Self, Christed Self, OverSoul, or Super Conscious. These are just different terms to describe the same thing: the part of you that holds your soul and knows everything about you—not just in this lifetime, but across all the lives you’ve ever lived.

When I’m not working with a QHHT client, offering Reiki Energy Healing, or facilitating Sound Baths with Crystal Bowls, I provide Spiritual & Integration Coaching to help with the daily practices and mindset shifts that lead to lasting results. I always recommend coaching for support and accountability alongside all of my holistic healing services because, in most cases, it takes both discipline and surrender to create significant changes in your life, which requires a heightened sense of faith and willpower.

Although I facilitate the healing sessions and provide a sacred space for this work, it is always the client’s will and determination to release, change, and grow that ultimately determines the outcome. No one can do your work for you, so the weekly coaching I provide is a great resource to help my clients stay on track with their goals.

I have found that my clients generally like to immerse themselves not only in the holistic healing that I offer, but also in the other events at Universal Healing Sanctuary, which take place in the classroom at my office, Sacred Soul Mind Body Spirit, in Canton, Georgia—which ties everything back into the community and growth on our journey.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
There are so many amazing things to do in Atlanta that it would be hard to fit my perfect itinerary into just one day or evening. I always enjoy walking the BeltLine because there are so many local spots to grab a snack or drink while you walk. There are so many amazing shops to explore, and Ponce City Market is always a great way to spend time or find something you like.

As a musician/artist, I’ve spent plenty of time in East Atlanta Village, Grant Park, Little Five Points, and Decatur Square. I have favorite restaurants, shops, and music venues in all corners of the city. One of my favorite spots is The Masquerade in Underground Atlanta, where I used to work when I wasn’t performing with my band Fairshake. You could always find me either working a concert or a dance party there. Underground has grown so much since 2020 when they started adding new clubs and bars. If you haven’t checked out everything they’ve built down there, I would highly recommend it for a fun night out. Dark Horse Tavern in Virginia Highlands is also a go-to for live band karaoke.

On a beautiful day, it’s always so peaceful to walk around Oakland Cemetery, especially in the spring or fall.

My favorite clothing store in the city is Guilty Party, located in Grant Park right next to Oakland Cemetery. They have an amazing selection of high-end raw denim, high-quality clothing, and accessories. The owners, Champ and Heath, are so nice, and you always leave with the biggest smile and some cool apparel.

Having a picnic in Piedmont Park never gets old.

Some of my go-to restaurants vary depending on what I’m craving. A few of my favorites include Holy Taco (amazing vegetarian options and a cool patio) and Flat Iron Grill (check out their Instagram and taste the photos—haha) in EAV, Nina & Rafi’s (get the Caesar salad; their dressing is the best on the planet), No. 246 in Decatur Square, and Fudo in Brookhaven, which has the best sushi I’ve found in the city!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Gratitude for Support

It has been a wonderful experience to share my work through Shoutout Atlanta and the service they provide! I deeply appreciate all the love and support for local businesses, especially heart-based businesses (as I like to call them, since they involve living your passion and simultaneously serving others). Being an entrepreneur and creative is, in itself, a deeply spiritual and healing experience.
Let us continue to collaborate and co-create this reality in harmony.

I want to thank my loving family, who have supported me through all the versions of Shayne that I was, and still am, becoming; my friends and community; and, last but not least, my fiancée, Charlie Pinkard, whom I love with all of my heart.
