We had the good fortune of connecting with Reilly Peshel and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Reilly, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor behind our success would have to be the quality of the music we produce and the talent that we bring to the table and to every single show we play. When people see the passion we have on stage and hear our original music, they will continue to listen to us, come to our shows, and spread the brand name.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I wouldn’t use the word professional yet, *cough* but we definitely do our best to present ourselves as professionals and we hold ourselves and our songs to a certain standard. There are still many challenges we need to overcome financially and mentally as a group. We would want the world to know that some of the best music IS local to them, especially here in Atlanta. It’s crazy how many extremely talented bands there are out there that would be their favorite band ever, and they’ve never even heard of them! Go out and support local artists!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Here in Atlanta, we have so much to do it’s insane. World of Coke, the Georgia aquarium, Smith’s Olde Bar if you want some local live music or entertainment, and right next door to that you have to try Kong’s kitchen if you like Chinese food. We normally hit Kong’s after a gig at Smith’s because they are open until 3am, which is clutch.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
There are a ton of people and other bands that we can definitely give credit to. Bands like Grudgestep, Stardust Sonata, and Babbler are not only extremely talented bands, but they are also our very good friends. Every time we play with them or watch them play a show they set the bar so high that it pushes us to be better musicians and put on the best show we possibly can. Couldn’t have done it without those guys and many, many more.
