We had the good fortune of connecting with Quay Crawford and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Quay, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
My thought process behind starting my own business was how to create something for the community & create unity amongst everyone. Also my thought process was to Create a creative space for long jeopardy where people can connect & create their own stories through their art

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
What set me apart from others as a photographer is the way I shoot my photography. I believe the way I love to shoot my photography is more about expression & storytelling.

What I am most proud of is my accomplishments and establishments of how my finish product of work turns out & how it makes others feel when they do see the work.

Well where I am today I believe there we trails and tribulations but the growth of it was one of the best process.

My lessons Of it was be patient and keep being creative.

I want the world to know that I am here creating a safe space for community, unity and art.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would say Central Park, Barnes and nobles and lips cafe.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Well I love to give credit to my 8th grade teacher Joe due to the fact I’ve learned film photography in his class.

I would also love to give credit to my family and friends and the people I have worked with & collaborated with because without them the art & stories of photography would not be create.
