We had the good fortune of connecting with Q. Matissé Myers and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Q. Matissé, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The factor behind my success I believe evolved from a phrase I follow very dearly which is: “Live Uncomfortable To Get Comfortable” Meaning to live without the wants we all desire so much and cut back on them to create your future.
What should our readers know about your business?
My company is called the, Bernasconi Consulting Group LLC. We have services that provide Private chef service, Small restaurant consulting, Catering and Business Management. What sets apart is we at the Bernasconi Group focus on educating the consumer on new ways to cook and enjoy foods, planning events and educating the small restaurant owner on business operation management. I’m most proud of being nominated as a top 100 chef in Atlanta for 2018 as well as my winning and being a champion for one of the Food network shows in 2019 as well as being asked to come back to do multiple shows for 2020 which will air in July. Getting to where I am today was a very hard road lots of endless sleep nights, days, not enjoying holidays, seeing family, friends or being able to enjoy hobbies and vacations. Believe it or not this structure honestly taught me discipline in areas and how to network and how to get back to enjoying these things I missed by making a plan to over achieve on my success to grab what I was missing out on that makes me happy. What I learn was its not the hard work that gets you to your goal it’s the listening ear and the smart observation of fact finding on new trends of your business and making sure you are capitalizing on them before they change and are non-existence. I would like everyone know that Bernasconi Group is not just about cooking and catering events, but more of a company that helps you develop others concepts, brands, ideas, trends and talent. I would say we are a Brand & Concept Investigator.
