We had the good fortune of connecting with Nicole Tanner and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nicole, maybe we can start at the very start – the idea – how did you come up with the idea for your business?
As someone who struggled with Hashimoto’s I saw a huge gap in the industry of women dealing with autoimmune diseases and other hormone and gut imbalances. I wasn’t getting help from my Doctor’s either being told “my labs were normal” or only being offered medication for the rest of my life that just treated symptoms. No one was addressing the root cause of symptoms. This gap is leaving so many women feeling frustrated, defeated, and like their bodies are “broken”. Thats when I created my Metabolism Makeover Method, the most comprehensive root cause healing program.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
What keeps me driven in business is to not let other women go through the same frustrations I faced with my health and fitness journey. Entrepreneurship is not easy, but if I can make a difference in just one women’s life, it’s all worth it. I get so much joy when helping women overcome difficult issues pertaining to gut health, hormonal imbalances such as IBS, extreme fatigue, bad PMS, and infertility.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
My favorite activity in Atlanta is to walk the beltline. I love to get outside and get moving and there are so many options to eat, shop, or hangout along the Beltline.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to give a shoutout to my wonderful parents who have given me immense love and support over the years. The journey into entrepreneurship is one with many challenges and I couldn’t have done it without them.
