We had the good fortune of connecting with Neffy Wells and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Neffy, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factor behind my success or the success of my brand is whether or not I am able to give back. Did I do the things I promised to do for my mom and grandma? Did I make sure all my cousins are straight, my younger siblings etc. Helping my friends to get to where they want to go, introducing them to people, giving them jobs, and using their name for projects I know they’d be perfect for. Did I start community initiatives to help those younger than me get to where they want to go sooner or more efficiently? Did I allow my blessings aid, in blessing others? In the rare chance I didn’t do those things only then would I feel like a failure,
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
So, my art consists of making the best experience possible for my audience. Whether I am doing an interview and trying to find the relevant questions to ask, *conducting my word choice in a way that is not rude or offensive. In addition, wanting the process to be fun for the client and entertaining enough for viewers to want to watch and listen. Then in terms of my hosting, I try to leave it all on the stage. I attend dance rehearsals for fun choreography throughout a show as openers, I find new interactive games and challenges to keep my audience engaged and they can win prizes, I study scripts given by the event coordinator you name it. My art is vibrant, radiant, and light I get to brighten up any room with my personality and smile. I am excited about growing my brand to hosting on television in front of my millions very soon. I still have a tremendous amount of work to do but I am confident that there is nothing I can’t do with a little consistency and faith.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Oh, that is easy! This is so my forte, everyone knows when you come to the city to ask SocialNeffy for what to do! So first is first we have to eat so for Breakfast the only place you need to try is Atlanta Breakfast Club, amazing food. Brunch definitely either BQE restaurant and lounge (recommend Chicken and Red Velvet Waffles) or Milk and Honey. Lunch Slutty Vegan is mouth-watering good, Slim and Huskies is the best pizza you’ll ever have and a personal fav is Harolds Chicken and Ice Bar. Dinner I recently visited and loved Roc South. Now for clubs/lounges, another personal fav is Escobar and Members Only (both owned by 2 Chainz, plus you’re bound to run into him). Compound is fun, Josephine’s is lovely, Boogalou is an amazing vibe and finally oAK is a must for a high class fell. Other fun tourist spots is the Georgia Aquarium, World of Coca Cola (you can try over 100 coke flavors from various countries) and Atlanta Botanical Garden is just divine for date night!
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would love to take a moment to dedicate this feature to my parents Ruthy and Martin Williams as well as my Grandparents Pe & Pa Williams and Marie Michel. Those five are my true backbone. I am not me without them and it is their support that allows me to go so hard to achieve my dreams. One taught me how to speak publicly , another taught me how to service, another showed me what hard work really looks like and others expressed the importance of giving. I take great honor in being related to these individuals as they are some of the greatest people to walk the earth. They respect, guide, teach, financially support, listen without judgment, and most importantly they believe in my vision. Thank you for everything the five of you have done for me, it’s you who I do it for.
