We had the good fortune of connecting with Na’shan Clay and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Na’Shan, what are you inspired by?
I’m deeply inspired by the gift God has blessed me with—the youth. They have become the heartbeat of my purpose. Every day, they remind me why I’m here, and they inspire me to keep going, no matter the challenges life throws my way. Their resilience, their potential, and their trust in me fuel my determination. They give me a reason to push through the storms, a purpose that’s bigger than myself. It’s because of them that I wake up each day with a fire in my heart to make a difference and to glorify God through the work I do.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My business is still a journey I’m learning to navigate, but at its core, I am a mentor for the youth in every way. They are my life. My hope is to continue building this vision, reaching schools, and helping kids in a way that aligns with my unique style of mentoring. My mission is to create a better life for underprivileged youth—and all youth—whether inside or outside of school. I want to help shape them into their best selves and be a light that highlights Jesus in their journey.

I’m excited to be used by God in a way that pleases Him while fulfilling me too. Building relationships with the youth and being someone who consistently loves and believes in them is my greatest joy.

This journey hasn’t been easy. I’ve had my own battles to overcome and lessons to learn. I’ve faced challenges and setbacks, but I now see how they set me up to grow and become stronger. I’m still human, still learning, just like the little humans I’m called to help.

One of the most important lessons I’ve learned is to trust God and push forward even in the storm. Staying connected to Him is everything. You can’t give up, because the storm is shaping you for a greater purpose.

What I want the world to know is this: it’s not about me. My life revolves around the youth. Post Road was the foundation where I first connected with the kids who gave me purpose, and that connection continues to fuel me. My life story—everything I’ve been through—helps me connect to the kids I want to see succeed. My brand is about them: helping every child I can reach, inspiring them to see their worth, and supporting them as they grow.

This isn’t about Na’Shan Clay. This is about the children—the ones who keep me going, the ones who make life worth it. They are my purpose, and I’m here to serve them.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana, and I’m still here, holding it down in my city. It’s got that perfect mix—it feels like a big city, but it still has this small-town charm. I’m still exploring and discovering new spots, but so far, my favorite place to hang out has to be Massachusetts Ave. That area? It’s such a vibe.

There’s so much to do—great restaurants, fun little spots for bowling or arcade games, and just this energy that makes you want to stay a while. It’s the kind of place where you can grab a bite, enjoy some good company, and make memories without even realizing it. For me, Mass Ave really captures what makes Indy special—it’s fun, laid-back, and full of hidden gems.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Shoutout to all my little kids I’ve come across in this life—you truly mean the world to me. Every single kid I’ve had the privilege to meet and help. Y’all, there are so many of you, and I carry each of you in my heart. You all make life worth living, and I’m so thankful for the time we’ve shared.

And to everyone who’s rooted for me and supported me along the way—thank you. Your encouragement has kept me going, and your belief in me has meant more than you’ll ever know. This journey wouldn’t be the same without all of you. Y’all are the real MVPs!
