We had the good fortune of connecting with Louis Buralda and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Louis, career-wise, where do you want to be in the end?
The end goal is to live the most calmest life doing the things I absolutely love. Every moment spent in misery is a waste. Professionally will invest in my art until it invests in my peace years later.
Meaning, I will gain artistic familiarity and financial gain years later down the line.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
The music is a journey. As you grow and evolve everyday so does your message and how you want to be represented. The music is more of a sacred craft because each song is filled with emotion and deep thought.
The challenge is going against the current and not replicating a sound that consumers are so use to. BE YOU!
I want the world to know that its not a race. If you have a craft you pour into to fully idulge. Thats what my brand is all about. Sincerity.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
In ATL the best spots are now over crowded and probably would not be much fun for a visitor. I do know a new spot that has the best wings I have ever tasted from any place I KNOW!
Its called Butts and Ashes Cigar Lounge
hwy 78 in Stone Mountain. I prefer hidden gems 😉.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
To be honest. I want to thank myself. For years people have been aware of my capabilities and talents. In this world we acknowledge and are aware of many things but being in our own world can I guess “disable” encouragement. So I would like to thank Myself and The one above for providing me the strength the continue even at times I wanted to give up. The encouragement and support arrived with the success.
