Hi Kioka, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind my success, and the success of my brand, lies in the combination of strategic positioning and unwavering faith in God. By positioning my services to fill gaps in holistic beauty, wellness, and sexual health—areas that truly resonate with people’s needs—I’ve created a brand that is not only relevant but also deeply personal and impactful.

At the same time, I credit my faith in God as the foundation of my journey. He provides the guidance, and strength I need to remain focused, inspired, and connected with my purpose. I view my work as a way to serve others while reflecting His grace and love.

This alignment between positioning my brand authentically and trusting in divine timing is what drives my success and allows me to genuinely connect with those I serve.

My career as a nurse has been over fifteen years, a deeply fulfilling journey rooted in my passion for care, healing, and empowering others to live their healthiest lives. As a nurse care manager in population health, I’ve had the privilege of working with diverse individuals, addressing their unique needs, and helping them navigate complex health challenges. Beyond that, I’ve also expanded my practice into holistic wellness, offering services like vaginal steams, weight loss programs, and customized treatment plans tailored to each client’s goals.

What sets me apart is my ability to blend traditional nursing expertise with a holistic approach to care. I don’t just treat symptoms; I focus on the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—recognizing that true wellness is multidimensional. My extensive nursing background gives me the clinical knowledge to ensure safety and effectiveness, while my holistic mindset allows me to create innovative, personalized experiences that truly transform lives.

Additionally, my faith is at the core of what I do. It drives me to approach every interaction with compassion, integrity, and purpose. Whether it’s through population health, medspa events, or workshops, I aim to provide care that is not only professional but also deeply meaningful and impactful for every person I encounter.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We would definitely have us a spa day at Kurved By K, Beauty and Wellness. We would have us a game night with family and then got to TRH.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to shoutout my amazing partner for believing in the vision for our brand and I would also like to thank my family and team for always stepping up for any of my shenanigans.
Candice Holyfield has been a great mentor and leader in action to educate and “show’ others how to be successful.
My success is possible because of the amazing people that surround me and the rooms they put my name in before I even enter!!
