Meet Keiana LaShae’ | Beauty & Fashion Influencer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Keiana LaShae’ and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Keiana, do you have some perspective or insight you can share with us on the question of when someone should give up versus when they should keep going?
My favorite bible verse is Ecclesiastes 3:11… It’s says, “He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.”
It reminds me to be patient and not to be so hard on myself. Everything has already been planned out for my life and no matter the battles I face, the outcome will be beautiful; therefore I will keep going because God said so! Can I get an AMEN!
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I began my journey as a hairstylist then ventured out to become a makeup artist. I am now showcasing my talent on Social media, ie YouTube. What sets me aside from others, is the fact that I’ve taken an extra step by adding an educational aspect to my God given talent and sense of style. By educational aspect, I mean, receiving my cosmetology license in high school then going to college, receiving my bachelors degree in fashion merchandising. Both have given me the core fundamentals of both the fashion and beauty industry.
I’m currently working on business ventures that highlight my love for clothes, makeup and hair; so I’m excited about that. Make sure y’all subscribe to my YouTube channel Keiana LaShae.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I can’t wait for my best friends to visit me in Atlanta. Ok boom! The first stop would be American deli. I would order my best friends a 10 piece combo; mild wings with lemon pepper sprinkles. The next day, I’d take them to Ponce City market’s Skyline Park. Lastly I’d recommend getting hookah and cocktails at Pasha or do Karaoke at Mics. After that they’re on their own, I need a nap. Haha.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to dedicate my shout out to everyone that supports me, the people that continuously build me up. Being a creative, I’m super hard on myself and second guess a lot because I’m so passionate. Everything I touch I want it to be perfect. So I want to say thank you to my friends and family for always gassing me up, encouraging me and reminding me that I’m doing great, I love y’all!
