We had the good fortune of connecting with Jas Caldwell and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jas, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
I truly believe the game of this industry is all about taking risks. Being the designer behind my brand has made me reach into a creative pocket I never knew I possessed. “Trial and error” plays a crucial role in OS being different and finding that niche.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
8 hours out of the day, I am a graphic designer for Autobell (a Car Washing company in Charlotte, N.C); the other 16 hours of the day, I am an entrepreneur. I give companies what I have to give during the 9-5 hours and dedicate the rest to my business. This is not for the weak. There are a lot of late nights and early mornings. Time management and staying focused are my two best friends. As I continue to grow with OS, I have learned many lessons and hacks that get me through every day! For example, Life Hack number 24.5: TRACK EVERYTHING. Whether it is a small idea or a doddle. Write it down, take a photo, record yourself.. whatever you have to do to feed your inspiration box.

I believe we are all different; we embrace our differences and welcome the wholeness it creates. Though OS, I want the world to see and understand what we believe in and stand with us.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
First give honor and praise, first to My Lord and savior. He has seen me through this journey and continues to have my back, and front.

Next I want to thank all of my supporters, friends, and family. My support system is CRAZY! I love you all to the end and will continue to create dope products and events!

I have to thank my partner, Shay. You have been here since day one of introducing One Society to the world. Thank you for all your love and inspiration. I appreciate you so much more than you will ever know. Thank you.
