We had the good fortune of connecting with Jaded Icon and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jaded, how has your perspective on work-life balance evolved over time?
My business hours. I save business and work duties for a certain amount of hours which is 9am-6pm where I respond to all inquires and deal with business. That way I can still have my seperate personal time and a set amount of time I can work.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am a personal shopper and stylist. I take up the stress that comes with picking a outfit or putting things together in your wardrobe. I bring my resources & labor to relieve you of the anxiety that comes with your wardrobe which not everyone enjoys doing. I got to where I am by believing in myself, knowing nobody else will believe in you if you don’t. It was easy because this has been my passion since a child. I learned along the way that consistency will make or break you. No matter how much you doubt yourself, remember strangers believe in you as much as you do. I want the world to know that Jaded Icon will be unique, down to earth stylist that’ll bring any and every vision to life.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
To a FAMU or FSU game .

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Nobody but my mother, Angela Lundy. She pushes me to be better and finds whatever it is I want to do.
