We had the good fortune of connecting with Gina Ayanna and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Gina, what do you attribute your success to?
I believe the most critical factor behind the success of my brand has been focusing on listening and delivering a great experience. I spend a lot of time at the beginning of every client relationship understanding my client’s business and what they want to achieve by working with me. I check in to ensure that the vision I’ve created for the session aligns with the client’s vision. I believe that continues to be the thing that helps me stand out. Paying attention to the small details that the client mentioned is always something that creates a great experience.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
What keeps me busy professionally is learning and improving. I’m always trying to figure out how I can work smarter and save time. Whether that means hiring an image editor or focusing on Instagram less and more on Google ads and blogging.( As that has a greater return on investment). I think it’s important for every entrepreneur to stay focused on growth and business systems. It makes your life so much less stressful in the long run.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would recommend friends start with Brunch at Evviva Restaurant. Then hit up the Art Gallery of Ontario. Then head to Woodbine beach to relax and unwind and lastly dinner at The Casa Madera.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
There are so many people that I have learned from along the way, it would be difficult to name them all. There is one book that I revisit time and time again in my business; Branding In Five And A Half Steps by Michael Johnson. It is a fantastic book on everything branding. I believe information is one of our greatest assets and clients value any additional insight you can provide that helps their business grow.
