We had the good fortune of connecting with Fat Dreadz and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Fat, what inspires you?
Personally, I’m inspired by my mom and life itself I have seen my mother work so hard for me and our family, it truly is motivating and I want to follow in her footsteps for sure she has always been a nonstop hustler.
I’m also just inspired by life itself because every day is a new day and a day that you can come closer to making your dreams a reality.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
You know it’s crazy how fast your life can go by when you’re constantly going through different things and pursuing goals, so I have to sometimes slow down and actually enjoy the moment and realize what I’ve done. I can really see the growth in myself and it all just came from not giving up trying to put myself in better situations. Fat Dreadz is a unique personality and you would have to come to experience him yourself to truly capture the energy. From Live shows to Twitch streams I feel like my presence is known and it’s all in the energy and effort I feel like I just want people to see if I can do it then they can too, you make have to work a little harder but just keep going.
I’m super excited about the new music I’m releasing soon I recently just dropped a project called “Bad Boy Sad Boy” on all platforms with 8 tracks and 1 feature with “Oso Muka” on there. That is most definitely the best work I’ve released thus far it’s a project that gives off cool arrogant vibes but also still shows heavy emotions in situations that I have encountered. I have two personal favorites on there “Born a Star’ and “Pain Go” two completely separate vibes but they both are great songs that have a powerful presence so if you ever get a chance go check it out!
So I’m happy for the predicament I’m in and the things I’ve overcome it’s what makes me me and I wouldn’t ask for anything less.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
The High Museum is a cool place to go in Atl then probably hit up some Davinci”s, pizza isn’t my favorite food but they pizza be bussin though.
But I don’t know you could go to Edgewood, The battery, Colony Square its a lot of different vibes in the city you just gotta find what your looking for
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to give a huge shoutout to Block Bandit Entertainment LLC and my manager Tree! Block Bandit Entertainment is a team! The team I joined back in 2022 It feels good to know I’m surrounded by humble people who all share the same interest. They have helped in ways I couldn’t even imagine at one point in my career, so I appreciate them a lot but stay tuned in because we will only be getting bigger and better from here.
