Hi Eryn, Let’s talk about principles and values – what matters to you most?
Kindness, or the act of being kind. That was the first word that came to mind. I believe if you lead with kindness, It’ll come back to you ten times over. This industry is tough. Life, is tough. You never know the stories behind the faces that you encounter. If I can provide even a smidge of light in a persons life by offering a helping hand, engaging in a simple conversation, or flashing a bright smile, I will choose to do so everytime It cost nothing to be kind, but its so fruitful. People remember how you treated them and how you made them feel. A lot of the professional relationships that I value the most are built on kindess. My talent got me in the door, but my generosity and friendlienss has kept them open.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My name is Eryn Paige. I am an agency-represented model and entrepreneur. In my 9 year career, I’ve experienced many highs and many lows. If I could offer a piece of advice based on my experience thus far, it would be not to give up. It’s so cliche, but it’s the truth. There have been multiple times in my journey when I have felt the fear of “what do I do now?”. When emails slowed up. When I received more “you can release this job” messages, than “you’re booked” messages. Right around the corner from those low moments were some of the biggest bookings of my career. My advice is to keep exploring and perfecting your craft. Pivot, adjust, reset, reflect, and regroup when needed, but always be in position. Opportunity meets preparation. I assure you your next opportunity is right around the corner.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I am the worst person to ask about things to do in the city! Haha. I’ve lived here for almost a year and a half and haven’t even scratched the surface of what this city has to offer. I am the friend coming to town that needs a full itinerary of the fun, exciting places! Show ME the best time ever. Seriously! I need the readers to send suggestions my way.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
First and foremost all honor and glory belong to God! I am because He is. I want to give a special shoutout to my cousin Tamika. I owe my introduction to the modeling industry, my dream career, to her. On my birthday 9 years ago, she arranged a suprise meeting with a friend of hers that lead to me signing with my first agency that same day! She supported me in the very beginning and I’m forever grateful. Endless thanks to my “mommager”, my first agent. We’re still negotiating her percentage. Haha. My father, siblings, and friends have been a sources of support and wisdom. Their love is priceless.
