Meet Emily Boring: Photographer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Emily Boring and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Emily, what’s your definition for success?
I’m not sure that success is a nice car or luxury home, but the overwhelming feeling of joy. I feel this every time I book another client. It’s another event reassuring that all my hard work is going in the right direction. I think it can also be when I create another lifestyle collection that makes me want to cry. All I want is to help others relive their greatest days all over again. For the emotion to emit straight through the page, and when I can do that, I feel most successful.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I primarily focus on capturing the life of couples. My team enjoys making engagement and wedding collections. Our goal is for our images to reflect the emotion of their day and life together. We try to set ourselves a part by making photography a candid experience, not stiff posing. Making each image custom with modern “posing” and timeless colors. I want the world to know that with our team, it’s more than photography but serving you and your loved ones.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If I’m in Atlanta, I would go dancing at Hosanna’s, get an air bnb with the view, goto the Coca-Cola factory, and visit the animals at the Atlantic Zoo. Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to thank my husband for all of his support through this. He really is one of the greatest reasons I’ve made it this far.
