We had the good fortune of connecting with Eboni Holst-Collins and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Eboni, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
As a realtor, my work significantly contributes to my community by assisting in building generational wealth and improves homeownership rates. This is accomplished by essential education on the benefits of homeownership, such as equity building, tax advantages, and long-term financial stability for their families. Additionally, I connect my clients with reputable lenders, grant programs, and financial counseling, to help them overcome obstacles. This guidance helps secure the necessary funding for home purchases if needed.
My presence in the real estate industry helps break down stereotypes and demonstrates the viability of homeownership. My efforts can lead to a more inclusive and prosperous future, where families have the opportunity to build and sustain generational wealth through real estate.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I achieved my success in real estate by taking a bold leap of faith from a comfortable corporate career. Leaving behind the stability of a well-established professional path, I embraced the uncertainties and opportunities of the real estate market. This risk was driven by my passion for helping others build generational wealth. Through dedication, relationship-building, and leveraging my extensive experience in customer success and project management, I carved out a successful career in real estate.
It wasn’t easy, but when you want something, you keep going! You don’t complain; you push harder by continuing to educate yourself, build your network, utilize your resources, and reassess your systems and processes as needed. The key lessons I’ve learned in entrepreneurship are to always prepare for when things aren’t going your way and to never give up.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
It I had a friend come to Georgia for a visit, I would plan a week of experience and fun!
Sunday – A nice Sunday Brunch in city of Alpharetta at Rays at Killer Creek, then head to Avalon for a light shopping day, and grab dessert at Jeni’s ice cream.
Monday – Head over to the The Works ATL for lunch and then go around the corner to Top Golf to play a game or two and have a couple drinks and then Houston’s in Vinnings area.
Tuesday – We would head over to Truist Park to catch a movie at Silverspot, enjoy a nice walk and then dinner at Arnette’s Chop House
Wednesday – I would take them to Ponce City Market for some light shopping, drinks on the rooftop, a little walk on the beltline and then dinner at Bucca Lupo. Following dinner, we would head to a hotel rooftoop for some networking!
Thursday – The shops at Buckhead for lunch at Le Bilboquet Atlanta or Le Colonial depending on if they are in the mood for French or Vietnamese.
Friday – Brunch at toast Buckhead, head over to Phipps Plaza from some shopping and then dinner at Little Alley Steak.
Saturday – We would enjoy the afternoon at the botanical gardens and then H&W Steakhouse for dinner.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My family, friends and clients
