We had the good fortune of connecting with Devin Suggs and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Devin, any advice for those thinking about whether to keep going or to give up?
I say never give up you may not have the outcome you expected or wanted but we naturally already have a day we must give up. We will all get older one day and with that comes wisdom so either way you will bring a unique experience to the world to share. All you have to do is make sure your necessities are taken care of and from there create. Whatever happens or is created from that so be it.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Perseverance is one of the most important words I’ve learned, being a creative is about letting the creative energy continue to flow. In this life we have a lot of things thrown at us that can take us away from our creative talent. I had to learn how to separate reality and creative freedom , in doing this I learn how to create almost 2 different entities that can co-exist within the same brain. I wouldn’t say it’s not about never quitting or never giving up , I would more say it’s about not losing why you love it because at the end of the day that’s what makes you want to do it anyway. I just want the world to know that I was a real artist and I said what was going on in my brain , I don’t want to be above or below or I don’t even put myself in a ranking class system in music I just make music.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I’ve only lived in Atlanta for the last five years but I’m in the City at underground shows ,and artist showcases , you might catch me in Gwinnett at the movie tavern or sum like that. , I also stay in nature it’s a lot of parks and trails here it helps me feel grounded.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I really want to thank the YouTube community for creating a platform that brings value and teaches. Not all on YouTube make the type of revenue to provide a lavish lifestyle but nevertheless the continue to push content that helps others to do the same.
