We had the good fortune of connecting with DestinyDaChef and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi DestinyDaChef, what role has risk played in your life or career?
How I think about taking risk is its truly the only way to gain blind faith because your not in control of the outcome…you are walking into a situation that you may feel unprepared or you may feel inadequate for….you may not even feel you have all you want or need for where you want to go……but what I have learned along the journey is God doesnt call the qualified he Qualifies the called…. meaning God will have you building the plane while flying at the sametime… it may be uncomfortable and frustrating at times but when you know God assigned you to a place you learn to be a student at all times even in leadership roles. Through the risks I have learned to be attentive communicate effectively pay attention to detail and listen more than I talk but, the number one thing I have learned in walking in doors I never been in is to put God 1st… If I do things his way I cant fail because he lead me there.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am a rap artist named Destinydachef my slogan is “IWannaFeedYou” meaning I want to pour into you! I want you to be Full when listening to my music… get full from love full from encouragement and full of light… what sets me apart is my brand is all about health and wellness in every facet. Mental Physical Emotional and Spiritual intelligence in alignment. At the young age of 13 years old doctors diagnosed me with T1D and my whole world changed. At first it seemed liked a death sentence until I chose life when I chose to live and live intentionally…I started doing research and thats when my healing journey began. I realized what you put in your body has so much to do with what you get from your body… if you are not feeding your body what it needs your body cant work for you. God created our bodies so perfectly that it has the ability to heal itself when you create the right environment for it to heal. I believe that statement in all aspects of healing and it starts with what we are putting in our mouths. So my music represents healing in every aspect and speaking life back into you to kick start the process.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Im an outdoorsy person so I would say the beltline definitely a great place to walk site see and maybe stop for a great bite to eat aswell, I also love Piedmont park great place to walk and site see aswell…love to go to the waterfalls aswell and stone mountain so much to do and see there aswell…. they have so many amazing food halls would definitely go to a few of those then a spa to end of the day.
