We had the good fortune of connecting with Destiny Wheat and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Destiny, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
After years of retail experience and a business degree under my belt, I was given a job offer many wouldn’t dare turn down. It hit me that I would be trading so much of my energy to make someone else’s dream come true. Two short years later, Seventh Level LLC and shopseventhlevel.com was born.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Seventh Level is an online boutique providing unique, hand-selected, fashion accessories. We want to provide you with eye-catching pieces that will remain in your closet for years to come. We are excited to be introducing more clothing items in the new Fall 2021 collection!
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Atlanta has so many amazing things to offer! Some of my favorite spots includes little 5 points – so many adorable second hand shops and creatives showcasing their designs. My guilty pleasure food has to be sushi from Kura, the rotating sushi bar off of Buford Highway. Cafe Intermezzo in midtown is another favorite of mine for food and drinks! The spicy tortellini pasta and peach martini is a must try! And if you need a night cap, Sugar Factory is right across the street, their massive cocktails are a crowd pleaser for sure!
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
A huge shoutout to my beautiful Mom, Ikuko, and my supportive partner in life Marvin for supporting me in all my life’s ventures.
