Meet DeBraisha T. Hale | Entrepreneur, Realtor, Author, Motivational Speaker

We had the good fortune of connecting with DeBraisha T. Hale and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi DeBraisha, let’s start by talking about what inspires you?
I am TRULY INSPIRED by seeing women in business WIN and be successful. Winning and success looks very different for every individual, however I love being able to witness those moments,. As a leader and mentor in the industry of network marketing and real estate, I can see when the light bulb goes off in some and they begin to move differently. That shift is usually their mindset and believing in themselves. Some women are naturally driven and know exactly what they want and go after it with determination, faith and hard work. Regardless of the journey, we as women are doing big things in business. In addition, I am also inspired by the unfolding layers in my own personal life.
God keeps opening doors of opportunity for me and it allows me to share a platform with other women and women who are watching to never give up on themselves, their business and their dreams. I know that I am still “BECOMING” like the title of Michelle Obama’s book and I am excited to see what’s next in my life.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am a woman who wears lots of hats. I am in the top .1 percent in my direct sales company where I have received lots of awards like Six Figure Bling Boss and Life of the Party Platinum. I am also excited that my real estate career is growing and there will be some other things that I am branching out to do in 2024. I am elated about the doors of opportunity that have opened up to me as a business woman. The first thing that comes to mind about me is that I am GOAL DRIVEN. I set my goals with a (POA) plan of action and then I put the WORK in. I am not afraid of hard work or not obtaining my goals by a desired date. If I fall, I get right back up and find another way. Like Donnie McCLurkin said, we fall down but we get up. I am high energy and bring a positive vibe to everyone. I love people and it shows. I can make you laugh and pull you to the side to prayer for you in the next room.
The story behind the glory of success is work, dedication, an open mindset, prayer, tears, downfalls, victories, sacrifice and perseverance. I started direct sales in 2011 but and at that time I was a professional school counselor. My first experience in this market and the company I was with was moving but it was a little slow for me.
In 2015, I tackled direct sales again with a product that was more personal for me. I set small goals and took time to understand what was obtainable and then I watched it take off. I can never fully take credit for what the Lord did by blessing my business and the amazing group of women and men who saw the vision like I did and ran with it.
Its never easy being a mom, wife, professional school counselor of 17 years, a student working on a leadership certification, and building an empire. However, its not impossible either.
I have learned to put my head down and focus on my goals and help those who are also connected to me and desire to make moves. Don’t think that it will always be your family and friends who will support you and your journey. Don’t take everything personal, realize that its not always about you. Keep moving! Do not get stuck up or give up, this is your story, keep writing.
I had to learn how to overcome my challenges through self care and being okay with the word “No”. I share this advice with women all over the world, you can’t pour from an empty glass and you cant do everything. My mental, physical and spiritual health matters and I must protect my peace.
I want the world to know that I believe my brand is ongoing! I am the mom of an autistic child and we live life to the fullest. I am a motivational speaker who loves to share and inspire. I believe in living life out loud. You may catch me sharing a word of God, on a date with my husband, dancing to a song on TIKTOK, closing on a home with my clients, traveling with my family, leaving the gym, posing on facebook, sharing a great book, or eating with a circle of lady bosses and running home to go live to show my customers whats new. I am still evolving and tapping into other gifts that God has blessed me with in this journey of life and business.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Georgia has so much to offer when it comes to fine dining and soul food. We have a great variety of entertainment and there are always events of ambience to visit on the weekend. When my best friend/friends come to visit, there are always three things on the list. Good food, shopping and a little time to relax.
Growing up in Fayetteville and seeing it as adult shows that their has been lots of growth. I often like to visit the breakfast spots for a hearty waffle or the taste of a mimosa.
We have several parks around the city. I like to workout or enjoy the natural vitamin D from the recreational parks that have a quiet atmosphere, perfect for exercising, meditating, and having those long conversations with my best friend.
After a break in our day to get dressed and restore ourselves, its shopping and lunch,
We love soul food and there are so many spots to choose from, from fried chicken, to collard greens and mac and cheese, you are sure to be left satisfied.
And a little shopping in Atlantic Station or Phipps Plaza. I also love small shops and boutiques in the city as well. You can enjoy the natural air while catching that perfect sunlight on a beautiful summer or fall day. Window shopping or walking into every store, you are definitely gonna feel that down home spirit of Georgia living.
When the kids are traveling with them, we love to go to the Georgia Aquarium. It’s an exciting adventure for adults and kids. Water shows and lots of sea creatures to explore makes it a day of fun.
Relaxing or unwinding means a great spa massage or feet massage and a movie.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
There are so many that have contributed to my SUCCESS! I would begin with my parents, Joseph & Barbara Toney. I am a native of Akron Ohio and my parents moved to Atlanta when I was one years old. They have always taught me to work hard, value my education, and to maintain a well balanced life. That included those good old songs on Saturdays while doing chores, taking lessons in ballet, cheerleading, bowling and enjoying the skating rink on the weekends. I was always very active and made good grades in school. Those skills and life experiences have shaped who I am today. They taught me to be a leader and go for it all. My parents believed in prayer, attending church and being active in church is where I learned to serve. They have always supported and believed in me.
I also have a tribe of successful, supportive, encouraging women in my circle. These women are trailblazers and often share ideas, strategies, and their stories that help me to grow, incorporate resources or new trends and lets not forget perseverance. I am a member of the illustrious sisterhood of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, INC., and the SCWIB (Southern Crescent Women In Business) which both organizations have taught me so much from sisterhood to making sure my business is in order.
I also give credit to my husband, Will and children, Kennedy and Kendall. Their support, sacrifice, and unwavering love has helped me to be able to travel, teach and has taught me patience in an everchanging world.
