We had the good fortune of connecting with Debbie Roness and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Debbie, what do you want people to remember about you?
I want people to remember me for my strength—that comes from my surrender. That in our weaknesses, we’re made strong. Every time I’ve been confronted with an obstacle, I’ve found a way to go through it, not around it. When Covid hit, and my husband’s restaurants had to close, I knew that—as an R.N and personal trainer— there was a lot left in me to help others. Whether it be through health, fitness or food! I decided to pick a lane and drive straight through it. I couldn’t dabble or just talk about it. I needed to head in with everything I had and to call on all of my people to help make it happen with the gifts they’ve been given. The moment my branding and logo came to life, so did I. Keto Bandito has provided a place to show my family what hard work can provide, to show my friends how a village can move, and to show my sweet, amazing customers how good healthy treats can make them feel.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I hold an active R.N license. I was a labor and delivery nurse in both NYC and Atlanta. The drive to people segued me into become a personal trainer while home schooling my children.. I now continue to personal train and have an online business as well as three farmers markets selling Keto Lifestyle products to those who are not only keto but diabetic, gluten free and celiac.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Gosh this is hard because of covid. But pre covid Krog Street is a favorite of mine just for the vibe and diversity. I’d take them to coffee at Octane, walk through piedmont park. I’d plans day at martinis and IMAX at fernbank . We’d browse old vinyls at Waterloo record shop as we drink watermelon mojitos along the Battery. I would grab my dogs and head to Fetch one afternoon as well Farmers market on Saturday mornings and a beer at reformation in Woodstock
