We had the good fortune of connecting with Danielle Hindle and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Danielle, can you tell us about an impactful book you’ve read and why you liked it or what impact it had on you?
Brene Brown – Braving the Wilderness
One of my favorite quotes from Brene Browns, Braving the Wilderness is, “”True belonging doesn’t require you to change who you are; it requires you to be who you are.”
I love this idea as it relieves us from the stress of striving to fit in, trying to be accepted, and working to be part of something. Instead we fit in, are accepted and are part of something when we first do this for ourselves. As we accept ourselves, we find true belonging when we find ourselves.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My business, Hope & Goodness is dedicated to promoting mental wellness by providing affordable and accessible resources and products.
I have had a passion for mental health and wellness since high school and an unquenchable desire to see people set free from all kinds of Mental Challenges.
Creating the Hope and Goodness company of products and affiliates came out of a personal need to find help for not only the people I love, but also what I needed for myself (just like you) during difficult times. What I needed, a safe place, resources, trust in people, respite and safe counsel, for a time, I could not find.
This is how Hope and Goodness was birthed in 2017 and evolved, becoming even more significant today.
The digital self-led coaching downloads and access to text and video coaching through the Hope and Goodness App, offer you the tools you need to prioritize mental wellbeing, when you don’t want formal therapy sessions or to leave the comfort of your own safe space.
Our aromatherapeutic perfumes, candles and teas provide comfort and calm.
I believe everyone deserves to have resources that enhance mental health affordably and easily, and so I strive to help meet these needs of Mental Wellness for Everyone.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If I was showing my bestie around Atlanta, I would definitely bring them to Alpharetta and show them around the food and shopping. We would definitely have to go to Buckhead for more of the same of course. And for our beautiful outdoors, Dahlonega or a day on the lake!
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My children and family are the reason I started Hope & Goodness.
I’ve watched people close to me from all walks of life that have been faced with and been dealt really challenging mental health situations, and so my company is also dedicated to them. I hope I can help you feel seen, heard and understood in some small way.
