We had the good fortune of connecting with Carlisa Lynn and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Carlisa, what is the most important factor behind your success?
I feel personally one of the main keys to success is staying consistent. Alot of us want to do things and know how to do them but never end up actually taking any action to do so. Everything sounds great from the outside looking in but once you find out what it takes to get to your end goal alot of people get discouraged where they will work towards it for a little than stop and slowly get back into it or fully stop and never look back. I can say im not perfect and there has been alot of distractions along the way throughout my journey. Ive faced alot of challenges where I thought my situation would never get any better. You just have to keep going and stay ahead of the game. Thats what will help you stay on top in this world. Planning is a major key and I honestly still haven’t mastered it as I believe mastering your passions and reaching success takes a minimum of 6-10years of consistent work. Although times have changed drastically since ive started my journey.. You have to learn how to adjust to things and adjust quickly or you will have alot of catching up to do. Thats where I feel I fell behind especially during the whole start of the pandemic, things changed quick! Learning how to have control of yourself and learn yourself from within is another thing I began to tap into about 2 years ago. Spiritually is what I mean to be exact as we all are living in a physical world there is a completely separate part of us which is our spirit and its much more important than others may think. Ill leave that for another conversation but it is very important to tap into spirit along your journey of success ! Those all have helped me gain the success I now have throughout everything ive accomplished thus far.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
What sets me apart from everyone else is my personality and authenticity. Im a kind hearted and loving person where if I feel something isn’t right ill do what it takes to make it right. One of my purposes in life are to help.. whether thats other people , the world , animals just about anything you can think of ! Everything that I do , I do it with pure intensions and genuine love. Im proud of myself for still being connected to my creative side as im starting my new clothing brand which I have so many visions to bring to life with of course an end goal to help others ! Im exciting to continue doing what I love and bringing out more of my authentic creativity out again. Ive gotten to where im currently at by believing in myself and never quitting. This whole journey has never been easy especially with the lack or support and lack of fundings. Nothing is ever easy especially doing it all on your own as its clear to see you need a team to go big. Ive overcome my challenges through working on myself mentally but it has been very hard to do so due to me loosing a very special loved one in my family. A few lessons ive learned along the way have been to always go with your first instinct , stop overthinking , never announce things before you start as it may bring in negative energy and thoughts throughout the universe where it will disrupt you from doing what you said you were going to do and that is very powerful and something I learned the hard way. Ive learned to stop asking for everyone else’s opinion in order for me to take an action on everything I already knew the answer to. Ive learned to never take the easy , cheap way as you get what you take.. There are many more those are a few where they require alot more details. I want the world to know about me and my brand is that I truly care nothing I do is to be selfish or brag as im simply working my way up to be able to help others how id wish to. Im very passionate with everything that I do and always know im about quality over quantity so anything I provide will always bring quality and be beneficial for anyone who chooses to support me. I want my energy to inspire others to live the life they are meant to be and to heal themselves from within as anything is possible you just have to believe and take action no matter what situation you are in.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would take my friends to experience a little bit of everything within a short period of time. Here’s all of the things I would include for my itinerary with no specific order.

– Atlanta High Museum Of Art
– Atlantic Station

Those would be a handful of my favorite things to do here in Atlanta as there are many more those are a few.

Id love to give a shoutout to the amazing beautiful Imani @thehoodhealer as she has opened my eyes to many new things and has helped me in so many ways. I cant thank her and her messages she has spoken enough. She’s truly a blessing. Id also love to give a shoutout to the Author Rasha of the book Oneness which was highly recommended by @thehoodhealer. It has changed my perspective on life itself and the mind.
