We had the good fortune of connecting with Carla Lomack and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Carla, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Class Management Group is an extension of my personal and professional experiences. The name “CLASS” is an acronym that stands for Carla, Lomack, Administration, Support, and Services so it’s always going to be a core of who I am as a business owner. It started with what I know for sure…that businesses always need support to run their operations. Holding a number of roles, handling multiple responsibilities, and having many job titles, my personal experience demonstrated a need for small businesses, corporations, nonprofits, and even government entities to have knowledgeable and skilled support services and employees that could improve their bottom line and performance. So I thought let’s take a step further with a business model that can deliver quality and excellence with collaboration to work in partnership with start-ups, growing enterprises, and businesses that are looking for a niche business management team that can accomplish their next-level project. I wanted to have a brand of business that extended beyond the boardrooms and created a lifestyle of meaningful growth. Our business tag is “Blossom and Grow” so we’re there every day. What this ideal has birthed is a business management group that works with other small business owners to deliver on multiple projects. It’s a gathering of experts lending their talents in a shared network of community at Class Management Group which all of our clients learn from, work with, and receive support. The vision is revealed to be more reflective of my values to connect, create, and learn which I am really enjoying. I started with my professional experience, but my own personal values are also finding a way to be a driving force for success in my business which is truly what I had in mind at the beginning.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We are CLASS, a company that provides trustworthy, reliable, and professional services as a single organization with enhanced capabilities of an expanded network that offers a broad range of resources and innovative advisory services. We thrive in supporting clients with organizational development and support, professional development and training, marketing support, and specialty services. Class Management Group supports strategic initiatives for long-term relationship building, business management, and goal-driven project management. We perform contracting services that solve problems, complete tasks, and specific assignments that create quick wins. Blossom and Grow with CLASS!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Here’s my favorite ATL itinerary – I would stay at the Westin Peachtree Hotel to be right in the center of Atlanta
Visit must-see sites: MLK National Park, World of Coca-Cola, Georgia Aquarium, Jimmy Carter Library and Museum, Centennial Park, Stone Mountain Park, High Museum of Art
Must Do Activities: Climb Stone Mountain, Attend a concert at Chastain Park, Walk around Little Five Points, Farmers Market at Serenbe, Eat at the Original Chickfila (Hapeville), Go to any sports team game – Hawks, Braves, or Falcons
It’s also great to hang out at the upscale malls in Atlanta (Perimeter, Phipps, or Lenox)
