We had the good fortune of connecting with Brian Jordan and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brian, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I wanted to be able to start something in the community for the community. From Grassroots to Greener Pastures. The ability to leave my children and generations after them stability, comfort, opportunity and ownership. The confidence to be creative and explore different ideas from start to finish.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
The brand Perceptions Perspective was built on the foundation of unity, diversity and creativity in the community. I got to this point professionally from hardwork and consistency not just relying on my Degree, actually touching the community and being personal with customers and consumers. It definitely wasn’t a easy journey and it’s far from over. I’ve learned that sometimes when you want something done you have no choice but to do it yourself. You have to dedicate yourself to a purpose while taking on mistakes and learning from them. Recondition your mind from taking temporary fails and losses and covert them to lessons you can continuously build on. I want the world to know that this brand/company is universally for everyones eyes it comes across. When it comes to service we are here to capture and create life long moments and memories to be cherished and held close to hearts. The poetry behind this brand serves as a soundtrack for life for all those that believe in it and are invested.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Well, to start off the best week ever you have to have some great food and vibes! To start the day for breakfast/brunch we gotta go to luxe located near NCA&T they have some really good food. Afterwards we can go to Cultural Art center downtown and chill at LeBauer park it’s a lot of activities and games available . Also it would be dope to check out the outside art exhibit and get some pics taken. For lunch go to Gate City Tavern for some of there world famous wings! After that we can go to Round One in the mall and get a few games of bowling in! Last but not least go to La Place Internacional for some great international cuisine, dishes and drinks.
