We had the good fortune of connecting with Blake Landon and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Blake, every day, we about how much execution matters, but we think ideas matter as well. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
So, one day I was thinking about how cool it would be to have clothes that make everyone feel special and happy. I wanted clothes that show love and make people feel awesome about who they are. That’s when I got the idea for BLEU! It’s all about building love and embracing uniqueness. Because, you know, we’re all different and that’s what makes us awesome! So, now I’m making cool clothes that spread love and make everyone smile.

What should our readers know about your business?
I’m Blake Landon and I own BLEU, a cool clothing brand all about spreading love and embracing uniqueness. What makes BLEU special is that we don’t just sell clothes; we sell confidence and positivity! It wasn’t easy starting BLEU—I faced challenges and had to work really hard. But with the love and support of my family and friends, I overcame them! I’ve learned that with determination and kindness, you can achieve anything. I want the world to know that BLEU is not just a brand; it’s a message of love and acceptance for everyone!”

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Okay so first we’ll start at the Georgia Aquarium, where we can marvel at sea creatures and pet stingrays. Next up is a fun-filled day at LEGOLAND Discovery Center, building awesome LEGO creations and going on exciting rides. We’ll have a picnic at Centennial Olympic Park, enjoying sandwiches with a view of the Fountain of Rings. Another day is for exploring the Children’s Museum of Atlanta, pretending to be scientists and inventors. For lunch, we’ll indulge in delicious seafood at Red Lobster, and later, we’ll satisfy our sweet tooth at Sugar Factory. Chuck E. Cheese’s will be perfect for games and pizza, and we’ll end the week with a tasty meal at Oz Pizza. What an incredible adventure full of laughter, learning, and yummy treats!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to dedicate this shoutout to my amazing mom and dad! They are my superheroes and my biggest supporters. They taught me to dream big, work hard, and never give up on my goals. Mom’s hugs, love and guidance and Dad’s encouraging words always make me feel like I can conquer the world. Their love and guidance inspire me every day. I wouldn’t be where I am without them, and I’m so grateful for everything they do. Here’s to the best parents ever!”
