We had the good fortune of connecting with Aron Aldrich and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Aron, how does your business help the community?
Growing up, my sister and I faced being underprivileged and poverty, but we were always surrounded by love. Our friends’ parents played a crucial role in our lives, treating us like their own and even including us on family vacations. My coaches went above and beyond, buying me meals after games and providing transportation to practices. When my sister Jess started her business, she expressed her desire for people to thrive, not just survive, in our establishments. When I acquired Skin & Brow Gunbarrel I shared her vision wholeheartedly. Our team comprises hardworking individuals from diverse backgrounds who aspire to excel. I’m committed to fostering their growth, both within Skin & Brow and beyond, by cultivating a nurturing environment for honing their esthetics skills. Education doesn’t end with a degree or certificate; my shop is the ideal place for continuous learning. I strive to support our staff and clients in more ways than just financial, believing that life is richer when we invest in each other.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Both my sister and I battled acne at various points in our lives. While pursuing her undergraduate studies, Jess made the decision to become an esthetician. She founded Skin and Brow a decade ago, coincidentally on my birthday. Since then, we’ve expanded to four locations, and Jess now runs an esthetic school. It’s been a wild ride, considering we were two girls from upstate NY, waitressing our way through college while raising children. Despite the challenges, our brand has not only survived but flourished in ways others haven’t. This success is entirely thanks to Jess’s determination and hard work. I believed in her vision and contributed to making it a reality in my own way. I’m incredibly proud of all that we’ve overcome together.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would definitely take them for one of Mama’s burgers and go to middle creek to splash around and look for pretty rocks.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
