We had the good fortune of connecting with Anderson Cotton and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Anderson, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
When I started my brand in 2013 I was a junior in high-school I wanted to create a business not only to bring me a little extra money in school but I also wanted to express my creative talents with my peers and the rest is history. Since then we have have made strides to grow each year.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
When I’m not working for myself I am a after school teacher and mentor. I went to school for business management and social work. To be able to do both the things I love is truly a blessing.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I currently reside in Columbus,Ohio so there is so much to do here. We definitely explore the North Market which is a market for all of our small up and up coming food businesses in Columbus. Next we would definitively visit The Ohio State stadium which is one of our biggest staples in Ohio. We would cap of the day at scene 75 which is one of the largest indoor amusement parks in Ohio but it’s nothing like having fun In Georgia.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to first dedicate this shoutout to my father and mother for not only instilling in me a entrepreneur mentality but also supporting me every step of the way. I would also like to dedicate this to my wife and kids they are the whole reason I continue to push this brand to the top.
