We had the good fortune of connecting with Alliantha Dervil and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Alliantha, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
When starting Derluxe LLC I imagined taking my Depop store and creating something much bigger. With my Depop, I realized that I not only loved conducting business and the feeling that I got when a customer is satisfied with their package, but I was actually good at it. Wanting to be able to showcase those talents as well as my love for fashion and marketing was the goal behind opening my own online boutique.

What should our readers know about your business?
What sets Derluxe LLC apart from others is the genuine love and care poured into creating the brand. Fashion and marketing are two passions that I have indulged myself into since I was a young girl. Since then, those skills have grown tremendously and it is reflected through my business. I enjoy every moment spent into molding Derluxe LLC and genuinely love doing what I do. I am most proud of how far we have come in such a short time as well as the response we have received. I am also proud of myself for creating the business while also being in school full-time and working a part-time job. Strategic marketing and not giving up were two important factors in being able to get to where we are today. While it has not been an easy journey, it has been a very fulfilling one. I overcame challenges by taking a breather and reminding myself why I am doing what I am doing and why I started it. I have learned the importance of following through on the things that you say you are going to do as well as the importance of not procrastinating. I would like the world to know that I have so many amazing ideas for Derluxe LLC and I truly do believe that there will come a time when everyone will be able to find something from us that they love and cherish for years.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend were visiting my area for a week long trip I would kick off the trip with an amazing brunch at Bacon B*tch. Following that we would head to Saint Pete to explore the city. We would end the night with Netflix and catching up. The rest of the week would be spent exploring the area and doing adventurous activities such as paddle boarding, zip lining, and rafting. Going out to great food spots with amazing scenery and taking photos would be the majority of the trip. The visit would end with a chill night in as we say our good bye’s and enjoy our last moments with one another.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to dedicate my shoutout to those who support me and believe in me especially on those days when I am doubting myself. The individuals who not only support my business by purchasing from me, but also offer me encouraging words and access to helpful materials. I would also like to shoutout all the beautiful ladies who have taken time out of their day to model for me.
